Ba Futuru has hosted over 50 international volunteers and accepts applications for roles in project management, teaching, monitoring & evaluation, fundraising, graphic design, photography, and filmmaking.

How to Volunteer
Whether you can join us on the ground in Timor-Leste or contribute from anywhere in the world, there is a place for you at Ba Futuru.
In Timor-Leste
Work directly with our team at the Ba Futuru Peace Center in Dili. Engage with local communities and contribute to programs on the ground. Typical placements require a minimum three-month commitment.
Remote
Support Ba Futuru from your home country. Contribute through fundraising, graphic design, research, grant writing, social media, or other professional skills. The organization also offers limited internship placements annually.
Volunteers can work either in Timor-Leste or remotely from their home country. The organization also offers limited internship placements annually, typically requiring 3-12 month commitments.

- Time management and independent work capabilities
- Relevant educational background or experience in education, law, international relations, development, or social work
Personal Attributes
Applicants should demonstrate positive attitudes, commitment to non-violent conflict resolution, and dedication to supporting vulnerable populations in Timor-Leste. A typical three-month minimum commitment is required.
