Youth leadership development conferences that inspire and empower young Timorese to become agents of positive change in their communities.

PeaceJam Youth Leadership conferences connect young Timorese with Nobel Peace Laureates and global leaders, inspiring them to take action in their communities. Through interactive workshops, mentorship sessions, and service-learning projects, participants develop leadership skills, civic awareness, and a commitment to nonviolent social change. The program has trained hundreds of youth leaders who have gone on to implement community projects addressing issues from environmental protection to gender equality. Alumni form a growing network of young peace advocates across Timor-Leste.

This program is part of Ba Futuru's comprehensive approach to building a peaceful, positive, and productive Timor-Leste. Through interactive, human rights-based training models, arts integration, and community leadership strengthening, we work to create lasting change across all 13 municipalities.
